Abracadabra - Poof!

When I was putting E. to bed tonight he decided to do some magic.

"Mommy, I have to make you disappear. I'm going to put my bear blanketover your head and make you disappear."

"Did I disappear yet?" I asked from underneath his favorite toy and faithful friend.

"No. I have to say the magic words. Ala ca zap a ba gaga!"

E. removed the bear blanket with a flourish. I saw a split second of hope on his face and then utter disappointment.

He sighed, "I guess I need more practice."
